YK & Associates revamp their whole corporate website together with a Knowledge base system to allowed their client to easily search for freequently asked questions, documents as well as forms.

We found a very useful freeware utility from design-lib.com (design libraries) that not converts psd to jpg but more:

Convert psd to jpg
Make a list by adding psd from a folder at once, single or multiple psd located in different folders or just drag selected psd from the explorer. Rearrange the list sort order as you wish, set the output folder and the jpg compression then you ready to do a batch convert psd to jpg.

PSD Preview
While working with the list you can do an instant preview of the selected psd by doubleclick or select preview in context menu.

Batch Resize
Beside batch convert, this program also allow you to do a batch resize of the converted images. You can resize by percentage or custom pixels width or height.

Batch Rename
You have many options in batch rename the output jpg images, autonumbering with prefix and suffix, change the filename into lowercase or UPPERCASE and replacing spaces with – or _. If the list made of psd from different folders it is possible to group the output images in a different sub-folder.

Using My Computer or Windows Explorer, open the folder containing the files. Select all the files you wish to rename (use Shift or Ctrl to select multiple files).

Note: In this example the files are already numbered sequentially – this is how digital cameras create temporary file names. We still want to create a numbered sequence, but we want better names.

Right-click on the first file in the list and select Rename from the context menu.

Type a new name for the file, then hit Enter. We’ll call the first file picnic.JPG – the other files will automatically be given the same name followed by numbers in parentheses.

You’ll notice that the first file has the exact name you entered, without a number. If you want the numbering to start from the first file, enter the file name followed by the number (1). You must enter it exactly like this – the file name, a space, and the number 1 in parentheses.

Note: If you make a mistake, you can undo the renaming by selecting undo from the edit menu, or by pressing Ctrl-Z (repeatedly).

Photo Gadget integrates with Windows Explorer so you will not start it like other programs. To use Photo Gadget after successful installation simply follow instructions available here:

Step 1.
Select your pictures in Windows Explorer.

Step 2.
Right-click on any picture file and choose Photo Gadget Picture Resize.

Step 3.
In the Photo Gadget dialog choose the new size for your pictures and click Ok.

Step 4.
You are now ready to send your pictures to friends or family.
